URI ALUMNI OUTREACH
The alumni outreach committee's goal is to create and maintain an enjoyable, dedicated and professional alumni group. The fund leverages the community of active URI alumni business professionals as a way for students to network while acting as an in-person testament to URI’s long-term strategy. In the long run, the alumni group assists the fund and its current members with active mentorship and fund continuity.

STEVEN COMANIUK
Steve studied accounting and finance at the University of Regina from 2007-2011, and was the first fixed income manager of the UR Investing program. The skills and experiences gained during those years were foundational to his career journey and successes to date. In particular, UR Investing instilled his passion for finance and gave him early experience with investment decision making and leadership - skills that continue to serve him well as a Senior Director at Concentra Bank today.
Steve encourages any student to make the most of their university experience, including getting involved in extracurricular activities such as UR Investing. Those experiences have a remarkable impact on your career, even if you don’t recognize it at first.
